IP Australia Testimonial

IP Australia is pleased to support Queensland University of Technology's Peer-to-Patent (P2P) trial. This initiative is designed to improve the robustness of the patents we grant by creating a community of reviewers who can pool their knowledge and locate potential prior art, particularly in technologies which are advancing rapidly.

By building on the growing trend by governments to harness the benefits of web 2.0 technology, Peer to Patent Australia has the potential to enhance and invigorate the patent examination process. It also promotes collaboration in the marketplace, which may have flow on benefits to Australia's business community.

I encourage your involvement in making this trial a success.
