A media playback device according to claim 15 wherein the first media document includes at least one embedded mark-up element providing an active link to the second media document, and the media playback device includes a media display configured to enable a user to select and activate the active link, the device being configured to terminate playback of the first media document and load the second media document for playback responsive to said activation.
