The method of any preceding claim, wherein:

when the first device disconnects from the network, said second device cancels the information describing the content stored at the first device;

when the information describing the content stored at the first device changes, or when a new first device connects to the network, the first device sends an update message to said second device; and

said second device resends a request to the first device according to the update message.
